About

Based in Brooklyn, I write and edit with a focus on how stories help us understand who we are: how books shape identity, how culture reflects or distorts it, and how LGBTQ+ narratives reimagine both.

My work has appeared in Next Avenue, The Sun, The Gay & Lesbian Review, and Publishers Weekly, with additional contributions to The New Yorker and The New York Times.

I am the writer and editor of Quinn on Books, my monthly column for The Red Hook Star-Revue and The Village Star-Revue, where I review fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I focus on local authors and books of local interest, alongside works that capture the shared experience of city living.
